This week’s Grave of the Week is a woman who died a hero. Angelica Haro died protecting her family at their home in Farmersville. Born on February 19, 1979, she passed on May 25, 2014.
Angelica was a homemaker who loved her family and loved to dance. She always put other people first and always wanted everyone to be in a good mood. She was a wonderful mother and cared about everyone. Her son said, “She was always there for people to talk, listen, play, whatever. She liked to have fun.”
Angelica left behind 7 children. Her daughter described her mom as “beautiful” and a “mother to all.” Her stone reads, “amor eterno,” which means eternal love and that is what Angelica gave to, and received from, all.
Unfortunately, Angelica’s life was taken right before she got to watch her son graduate from high school. She was so proud of him and what he had accomplished.
Please share your memories of Angelica and help us show her family and the Farmersville community that she will never be forgotten.
