This week’s Grave of the Week is Mary Lyn Tripp. Mary was born January 25, 1990, and passed May 16, 2003, at the age of 13. Mary’s life was cut short by a Wilms’ tumor, which is a rare kidney cancer that mostly affects children.
Mary was a ray of sunshine who made everyone she knew happy. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She lived each one of her 13 years to the fullest and made the most out of her time here. 22 years after her passing, she is still dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Mary’s mother is reunited with her in Heaven.
Thank you to Mary’s friend who asked to share Mary’s life here. She described Mary as someone whose “smile would light up a room.”
If you have any happy memories of Mary or her family, please share them here and remind her loved ones that they are not the only ones who miss this young woman.
