This week’s Grave of the Week is Roland Dinsmoor. Born in 1926, in Pasadena, Mr. Dinsmoor passed away in 2020, at age 93.
Ron, as he was known, served in WWII in the Navy. He later worked for Southern California Edison for 38 years as an accounting and budget office manager.
In Exeter, he was a member, Deacon, Elder and Treasurer of the Exeter First Presbyterian Church. Later, he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a member and first vice-commander of the Exeter American Legion Post. In Visalia, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge and in 1970, was Worshipful Master. He was also a licensed amateur radio operator and talked to other HAM radio operators all over the world.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, rock hunting and visiting the western US in his motor home.
At the time of his passing, he was survived by his two children, two stepchildren, 12 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
