Claud Wiley

This week’s Grave of the Week is Claud Wiley of Farmersville. Born in Arkansas in 1925, he passed in 2010 at the age of 84. Mr. Wiley’s family moved to California in 1938, settling in Farmersville. He served in the US Navy during World War II. After discharge, he returned to Tulare County and married Frances in Exeter in 1957. Mr. Wiley worked at a local packing house and was a supervisor for many years.

Claud was a member of the Exeter Citrus Retiree Group. He was also a member of the Calvary Worship Center and was actively involved in the church as a song leader. Three of his brothers were reverends. He was survived by Francis, as well has his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
