This week’s Grave of the Week is Karen Childree. Karen was born July 31, 1965, and passed on October 30, 2021. She grew up around Orange Cove and Dinuba. She married her husband in 1983, and together they had three children, Donna, Robert, and Lori.
When her children were older, she returned to school and earned her high school diploma. She spent 21 years as an office manager for Crane’s Towing.
Later in life, her grandchildren became her pride and joy. She loved doing arts and crafts with them as well as taking them to the beach and Disneyland.
Karen hated to see anyone in need and would help anyone she could. She had a huge heart, and her generosity and love are greatly missed.
Karen was survived by her husband (who passed in 2023), her children, grandchildren, seven siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
Please share any memories of Karen here. The purpose of Grave of the Week has always been to share, publicly, the lives of those who shaped our community. It is never too late, or too soon, to celebrate and remember those who have passed.
Message if you know anyone who should be featured on Grave of the Week. Please include any information about the person’s life and where the grave is located.
